Hello lovely!

If you've made it this far, something here is speaking to you.

Maybe you’ve checked out Fat Joy and feel like saying hi. Maybe you found this page an hour ago and you're still deciding whether any of it is for you. Either way, you're welcome here exactly as you are.

You don't need the right words or a clear question or a tidy reason. You can tell me what's on your mind, ask me the thing you're worried is too big or too small to bother with, or just wave hello and see where it goes.

I read every message myself, and will be very happy to hear from you. There's no wrong way to start a conversation with me. Pick whatever feels easiest, and let's go from there.

About Sophia

For over a decade, I’ve been making joyful, rebellious spaces for fat folks: the Fat Joy Podcast (a top 2% global podcast), body liberation coaching, writing workshops, and Creation Lab, where people turn their frustration with diet culture into creative acts of liberation.

I came to this work through my own life, and after decades of extreme dieting and an eating disorder, I know in my body what it means to need a soft place to land.

My gift is holding spaces where people can exhale, show up fully, and trust they belong. I wholeheartedly believe in the inherent worthiness of fat people and the birthright of fat joy.
